groups FOR young adults
Why participate in a group?
Being part of a group is essential as it satisfies our innate need for connection, support, and shared experiences. Groups offer a sense of belonging and create opportunities for learning, collaboration, and personal growth.
Participation in a dynamic work group specifically provides a platform to engage with diverse perspectives, enhance problem-solving skills, and develop effective communication and teamwork abilities. This collaborative environment fosters creativity, resilience, and a deeper understanding of others, ultimately contributing to both personal and professional development.
SERVICES
Which Groups We Offer:
Life skills group for young adults (20-30)
Between the ages of 20 and 30, young people face a pivotal period in their lives, filled with decisions that will shape their future across various dimensions. From forming their identity and finding their social groups to choosing an education and career path, starting a family, and securing independent housing, the choices they make during this time are crucial.
Making well-informed decisions is central to this stage of life and has lasting implications, both for the individual and for society. Today’s young adults navigate a landscape marked by a higher cost of living, housing shortages, and a world that may feel unfamiliar compared to what they once knew, all while meeting new people and exploring new areas of life.

LGBTIQA+ group for young adults (20-30)
We are launching a short-term personal development group specifically for LGBTIQA+ individuals aged 20-25. This group offers a safe and supportive environment where members can engage in honest, open conversations about issues that are pertinent to their shared experiences. Our aim is to create a space where participants feel comfortable exploring their identities, discussing challenges, and receiving guidance from peers who understand their unique perspectives. Through this group, we hope to foster self-acceptance, build confidence, and support personal growth, all while addressing relevant topics and providing a sense of community.

“Each individual – itself an artificial though plausible abstraction – is basically and centrally determined, inevitably, by the world in which he lives, by the community, the group, of which he forms a part.” (Foulkes, 1948, pp. 10).
